I have been at the forefront of technological advancements, with extensive experience owning and managing interactive media and web companies, ISPs, and a diverse array of online startups.

I've been fortunate to contribute to a wide range of impactful projects throughout my career
I began my career in graphic design, pre-press and print, specializing in photo retouching for various magazines.
This role eventually led me to manage the multimedia division of the business, where I designed and developed an interactive touchscreen kiosk for Auckland Art Gallery, significantly enhancing visitor experiences.
My career path then diversified into various roles such as 3D illustration, film and pre-press, computer servicing, repair, and network installations. I also worked for an ISP, providing ISDN internet connections to homes across New Zealand during the early days of the internet.
With a solid background in design and computer skills, I transitioned into web development, initially creating websites through hand-coding in HTML.
I also ventured into entrepreneurship by launching a QR code startup and owning a CD-ROM postcard production business, serving global organizations.
In 2014, I founded and led one of Auckland’s largest web development and hosting companies, overseeing a team of 18 staff members until its successful sale. During this time, I worked with prestigious institutions including Auckland Museum, Auckland University, Goodfellow Unit, MOTAT, and the Maritime Museum, enhancing educational outreach and visitor engagement through projects like websites, interactive kiosks, and learning management systems.
Transitioning into full-stack contracting, I now provide secure site development and hosting to my own clients, as well as other web development companies.
I work as a full stack web developer behind a number of different web development companies, assisting them in designing, developing and building their client sites as well as with server maintenance and hosting.
My own highlights include developing a major multivendor marketplace, as well as an online platform for Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA) focused on dance education, teacher resources, student examinations, marking and memberships.
I’ve also developed an online job recruitment platform for Staff Australia and NZ Staff as well as creating marinberths.com that offers worldwide marina berth sales, to name a few.
Additionally, I contract as a specialist in Google Analytics and data analysis for one of the largest drug and medical information companies in the USA.
My journey also led to founding friendlyhost.co.nz, where I offer comprehensive hosting solutions, robust security measures, and expert support, as well as an art printing business called picnmix.co.nz.
